ABC's

A: Adventures
B: Boyfriend
C: Clothing
All of the above are a few of my favourite things!

1. Recent outfit to a management midterm this past week. It's amazing how many people you see wearing sweatpants just because there's an exam happening. Yes, post-secondary school is hard, but make it FUN with a cute, functional outfit! Wearing: Zara asymmetrical shirt (longer in the back with a neck/bottom zipper), American Eagle jeans, gifted scarf & Payless motorcycle boots.

2. Ring from H&M (they had a super cute snake bracelet there too. Nail colour is Naked by China Glaze (more pink in real life).

3. Another quick outfit snap. I apologize for the poor camera quality - I am desperately wanting to purchase a new one soon! Dark jeans by American Eagle, leopard flats from a boutique in Duncan, gifted scarf, Old Navy anorak.

4. An adventure through Delta, Richmond & Burnaby took Brandon and I over the Alex Fraser bridge. I let Brandon have the camera reigns on this one!

5. A little bit of hilarious background noise the night before my retail buying midterm. It was definitely a nice distraction from all the formulas!

6. Post-It notes on my notebook were a constant reminder of things I needed to know for my midterm! Thankfully they worked!

7. My handsome study buddy catching a glimpse at Bridesmaids on TV. Brandon made quizzes for me with content to study, and I had to fill in the blanks. He made it fun & a lot of the "tricks" he came up with helped me during the actual exam! Thank you!

I hope you are all having a wonderful week! My homework assignments are done, midterms are finished, laundry is caught up, and Sex & the City is to be watched (for about the billionth time)! I'm currently on the last disc of season 4. Good night!

Cookies & Colds

1-2. I made cookies on Thursday night. I used a basic cookie recipe and added in coconut, pumpkin & sunflower seeds, and a couple sprinkles of chocolate chips. The end result wasn't pretty, but they sure tasted awesome!

3. A comfy outfit for work on Friday. My dad is sick, Brandon is sick, and my sister was sick last week. What is the out come when that happens? I get sick. Great!

4-6. Details of my outfit! Mom's SheShe Accessories infinity scarf, thrifted cardigan, Payless Shoes red ballet flats (I got these in grade seven or eight... So comfortable!), and Pashu skinny jeans. Oh, and those earrings were on sale for $3.25! Score!

7. This is how I feel about catching a cold. Boo!

Lounge & Lunch

1. I was originally going to wear these boots today, but I decided that I would go for a more practical option (below).

2. Grey ankle boots by American Eagle for Payless. I also wore a pair of black tights from Bootlegger, a RazzleDazzle brand grey/green striped tunic, and a grey studded jacket I found while shopping with my best friend Lauren!

3. Ring of the day! This actually belongs to my sister, buuuut... it found its way into my room! Funny how that happens ;)

4. Channeling my inner Miley Cyrus with the peace signs!

5. Brandon and I drove into Duncan this afternoon so he could check out some rims and tires for his car. Fun fact: Canadian Tire has a waiting room/lounge for when your car is in the shop! I made myself cozy on a comfy leather chair and surprise! There was a TV up there playing the W network - Take This House & Sell It, to be exact. I watched an episode of that and a little bit of another show before it was time to go. Off to lunch!

6. If you are ever in Duncan, I highly suggest that you check out Just Jakes. It is a funky little restaurant that has everything from soups and salads to wraps and burgers and all kinds of appetizers! I enjoyed a veggie wrap with butternut squash soup - the soup was absolutely to die for! Next time I just may have to get a big bowl of that. It was creamy and had a smooth texture, and a bit of spice in there too. And, the price was right! For the two of us, it was under twenty dollars (and we both got big wraps and hearty sides)!

Finally this blog post is done! I have been battling with Blogger/my lap top/the internet connection for two hours, and I have finally won! YES! All that frustration for nothing.

Have a good night everyone!

Holly xo
