Vancouver

QUESTION FOR MY VANCOUVER READERS:

I am moving to North Vancouver this summer, and I'm starting to look at some part time jobs.
WOULD IT BE WISE TO LOOK FOR ONE DOWNTOWN, OR IS THAT TOO FAR?

I'm going to school downtown at VCC, and all my classes are at night. I figured a part time job downtown might not be too bad.

OPINIONS PLEASE :)

  1. It all depends on where you are in North Van - as long as you're close to transit, you're fine. I'd say if you're around Lower Lonsdale or anywhere west of that, you can SeaBus from the Quay or just bus over Lion's Gate Bridge. If you're closer to Edgemont, it'll take you a bit longer but you would still be OK. Deep Cove is a bit longer, and I wouldn't recommend working downtown and living in Deep Cove unless you tied your work in with going downtown for school.

Ultimately, it's up to you - just check out translink.ca and see how long it would take to get downtown from where you'll be living.
