Like a Kid at a Carnival

 

I absolutely loved the shots of Mila Kunis in the April 2012 edition of Harper's Bazaar. Although I flipped through them online, I can't wait to get my hands on the actual hard copies when it hits the shelves on March 20th and see it in person. Everything about this spread embodies Spring and Summer. The colours, the setting of a carnival, the playful clothes, and the overall sense of fun and freedom. Terry Richardson, American fashion photographer, is a genius. The lights, colours, detail, and LIFE in all these pictures are amazing! If only he could come and shoot me during my day to day tasks... I'm sure you guys would like to see me sitting in class or picking up produce at the grocery store (boring, but they'd be shot by Terry Richardson, so that's all that matters).

My favourite Golden Globe Award looks! 

Did you tune into the 2012 Golden Globe Awards? Like every award show, the Golden Globe had good and bad fashion. I don't mean to sound too critical, but there was almost more bad than good! I must say, however, those who had a fantastic outfit truly did pull it off and look amazing. One thing I love about these star studded events is that there is always someone who stands out and someone everyone talks about at the end of the night. Perhaps Sarah Michelle Gellar will be on the fashion faux-pas radar.... I ALSO wonder who will be on the best dressed lists this year! Anyway, if you were on Twitter at all during the Golden Globe show you probably saw your share of updates from everyone regarding what the stars were wearing. Crazy for McQueen

There is no doubt that Alexander McQueen is a fashion legend. As I was perusing McQueen's Facebook page, I spotted these looks worn by some of my favourite celebrities. The fact that Drake (whom I love) is wearing McQueen (whom I also love) is a #winning (Charlie Sheen reference, anyone?) situation in my eyes, and check out the colour on Mila's red boustier maxi (the sweetheart neckline doesn't hurt either). Now, if only I had some McQueen in MY closet!

I was anticipating the moment Scarlett Johansson walked down the red carpet this evening. As soon as I saw her on the television screen, my face lit up. What a knock out dress! The colour, the cut, the details... Wow. Thumbs up, Dolce & Gabbana.

I am in love with Mila Kunis' whimsical, lavender Elie Saab dress. Seriously. It looks like you could twirl in it for hours, surrounded by fabric (not that I'd do that...)

I wish I had a one of a kind Marchesa gown to wear to the Oscars, don't you? Hailee Steinfeld is a lucky young girl, that's for sure! It's kind of like how Elle Fanning frolicks about in head to toe Rodarte. Okay, I need to stop being so jealous.
